Auxiliary members wishing to participate in any specialized rescue must be approved by Valley Fire & Rescue and MUST adhere to the training requirements set by the West Virginia Fire Commission
- Auto Extrication (minimum 20 hours of training)
- Rope Rescue (minimum 24 hours of training)
- Confined Space Rescue (minimum 44 hours of training)
- Water Rescue (minimum 40 hours of training)
- Traffic Control (minimum 4 hours of training)
- CPR / First Aid / AED and Hazmat Awareness Training Required*
