Application Process

The application process beings with submission of our online application.


After the application is received you will be contacted by a member of our on-boarding team and explained the process further. Be on the lookout for them to contact you!

The on-boarding team will set up an in person interview with you. Which will take about an hour. This interview will discuss:

  • your background
  • your reasons for joining
  • any previous experience
  • any special skills you may have
  • overall physical and mental fitness
  • Additionally there will be 8 interview questions

As part of this process, a physical skills assessment will be conducted to determine the your readiness for duty. This skills assessment will be CPAT Skills:

The on-boarding team will then evaluate each candidate and make a recommendation to the membership at the next business meeting for approval or dismissal from the process.

You will be contacted with the results of the meeting.

If approved, you will become a candidate member. Candidate members are on a 3 month candidacy period and will begin our mentorship program.
